    Abstract

Narratives can be defined as stories that have narrative properties consisting of characters with beliefs and value, and plots including not only intentions but also conflicts and plights. When students develop their narrative competencies, they are able to make and express plausible stories, which should be understood by the people living in the same culture. Schooling should focus on motivating students to understand and make the world, and apply the curricula based on narrative competencies.
